Vera's Baptism

Vera was baptized today at our church, along with 2 other little girls.  Our parish incorporates the baptism into the mass so getting pictures of the actual baptism is difficult as we're part of the ceremony up at the front of the church.  We snapped a few pictures at the end and then had immediate family over to celebrate.  God sprinkled some snow down on us in celebration!

My best friend Katie is Vera's Godmother (and Maya & Leo's)!

So serious!

"IT'S SNOWING"

Vera is (was) 6 Months Old

Vera Paige- I'm not sure how we got so lucky with you!  You continue to be sweet and content.  You are still not rolling but the Dr said it doesn't matter- that big content babies often just don't feel like expending the energy it takes to roll over :)  You love to laugh and babble at your brother and sister.  You roughly have 2 naps a day, but we're rarely home for both of them, so you kind of just grab a nap when you can while we run around with your brother and sister, and you're totally ok with that.  You love the dogs- you seem to especially love Dexter.  You also seem to think that Daddy is very amusing.  You are still BIG.  You are 26.75" tall (82%) and weigh 18.4 lbs (89)- this is bigger than Leo was at 1 year!!  You also have a big head- 17.5" (92%)- you are very proportional! YI could sit and squeeze and cuddle with you all day.  You remain toothless.  You started solid foods this month- but seem unsure about them- peas seem to be your favorite so far.  You've tried, oatmeal, rice cereal, avocado, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, and carrots!

We can't believe you're already halfway to a year and can't wait to continue to watch you grow!

I got a big of a smile- woohoo!

Christmas 2015

Christmas seemed to come and go in a blink this year.  We hosted and the kids loved running around with all of their cousins! This year Maya asked Santa for- craft stuff, a mermaid Barbie, a Rockin Royal Barbie, a Nutcracker, and Magnatiles.  Leo asked Santa for- a Flash action figure, and a dinosaur.

Cookies with Santa

We had cookies with Santa at Longwood Gardens to kick off the kids' break from preschool!

Leo called his hot chocolate "coffee."  He loved it.  Maya though it was too hot!

Christmas Morning:

"I got a Batgirl costume!"

Aren't these the most beautiful stockings?  My mom makes them!

"What in the world is going on today!?"
