Maya's First Haircut

We finally did it... Maya had her first haircut today. It made me sad to have those locks that she had as a newborn snipped away, but the ends were getting quite ratty. A former student of mine's mom cuts hair in her basement and 3/4 of her kids have curly hair so I figured she'd be perfect for the job! She was. Maya was such a big girl and sat in the chair all by herself. She kept saying "It doesn't hurt!" This was shocking since I can barely touch her curly locks without her screaming!!

Shore Trip 2013

We had a great time at the shore this year.  Fortunately Maya loved the beach this year.  She enjoyed playing in the sand and the water.  We were so happy that Dave was able to be with us the whole week!

Leo spent most of his time at the beach in a carrier (above) or in his bouncy seat (below).

Maya loved Springer's ice cream!!

It was sooo windy for our family pictures this year!  We're all grimacing from sand blowing into our eyes!

Leo is 3 Months Old

Leo is 3 months old already!  He's doing great.  He started on an acid reflux meds and has become such an easy baby.  He really only fusses if he's overtired.  He's become smiley and chatty.  He loves to watch everything that his big sister Maya does!  He also loves his pacifiers and the mobile in his crib.  

He's such a little man!
