Maya & "Dolly"

Maya LOVES her "Dolly."  They go everywhere together (except daycare where she only gets Dolly at nap time).  Mimi sent Dolly when Maya was just a few months old and they've been inseparable ever since.  I've since bought 2 more in fear of losing one and we rotate them to keep them evenly worn (plus one just stays at daycare).

Dave's aunt got her a cute pink tutu and white shirt for Christmas and I realized it would make her match Dolly.  Here are the matching gals!

"I love when I get to wear Mommy's jewelry."

"Mom, please, enough, you said we were coming downstairs to eat breakfast."

A Funny Conversation

Maya- "Rose had to go to time out."

Me- "Yes."

Maya- "Rose didn't listen, she had to do a time out."

Me- realizing she knows more about time out than I realized since we've never put her in it yet- I'm not opposed to it, she just hasn't done anything that extreme (yet).  "Do kids at school go to time out?"

Maya- "Yes"

Me- "Which kids go to time out?"

Maya- pointing to herself "Maya does."



Oh geez!!!  I had to hide my laughter.

 I did follow up on this at school and she actually hasn't had to go to time out there.  I did let them know that I'm ok with it if she has to since we were on the subject!
