Leo is 2 Months Old

Today Leo is 2 months old.  He is still a fussy baby but the last few days have been a bit better.  We're starting to see some non crying awake times.  We've also seen just a few smiles.  

Leo was fussing so I had to resort to pacifier pictures.

This is Leo's favorite spot.  He gives us some non crying time in this bouncy seat and on his changing pad.

Happy 2 months Leo!  We can't wait to see you develop this month!  2 month stats to come:

Summer Fun

We've been living with my mom this summer while we're between houses. My mom lives in a great walkable neighborhood which has been fun.

Today we went on a walk.

We fed the fish and saw tons of frogs in the pond! We explored some fountains.

Then we walked to the playground.

Summer Fun!

Leo started smiling a bit today. It was a huge welcome and change from the typical fussiness! They're hard to catch but below is the start of one!

Baking cookies

Maya and I baked chocolate chip cookies recently. She was really helpful- except when she was trying to eat the raw dough.

Leo Lately

I took some pictures of Leo to try to pick one for his birth announcements- I'm not sure that I like any of these enough to use but here they are!

This is how Leo often looks- sorry buddy but it's true.

But he also can look so sweet and innocent!

Love him so!

Leo- you've learned to love to be wrapped in my bamboo wrap.  You still fight the head tuck while you're awake though so your poor little head bobs around!  I have another carrier on the way that will hopefully resolve that since you're often carried in a wrap while I help your sister with naptime or bedtime,  or we're playing outside!  You LOVE when your dad throws you around- it oddly seems to calm you.  I think that he's your favorite person!

Pool Time!

I took Maya to the pool today while Dave watched Leo. It was her first time testing out her Puddle Jumper floaties. She loved the water and surprised me by asking me to let go of her once she was comfortable. She kept exclaiming that she was a "big girl!" She also had fun in the baby pool and didn't want to leave!

Happy 4th of July

Yesterday we celebrated Independence Day.  We met our old neighbors in the morning at the Downingtown "Good Neighbor Day" festivities.  Unfortunately, the carnival rides were not available due to all of the recent rain.  We still had a nice time catching up with our old friends. Maya seemed to enjoy seeing her buddies again.

We had a quiet afternoon- Dave grilled some hotdogs and burgers for dinner and we just hung around the house!
